1) Nirbhay Sharma sworn-in as Governor of Mizoram:
--> Lt General (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma was on 26 May 2015 sworn-in as the Governor of Mizoram at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan.
--> Justice T Vaiphei, judge of the Gauhati High Court, administered the oath of office to General Sharma.
--> He is the eighth governor of Mizoram.

2) NASSCOM launched cyber security task force:
--> National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) and Data Security Council of India have launched NASSCOM Cyber Security Task Force.
--> It aims to build India as a global hub for providing cyber security solutions, developing cyber security R&D plan and develop a skilled workforce of cyber security experts.
--> Rajendra Pawar, Chairman, NIIT will be the chairman of  NASSCOM Cyber Security Task Force.

3) Snapdeal acquires m-commerce tech startup MartMobi:
--> E-commerce major Snapdeal has acquired Hyderabad-based mobile technology startup, MartMobi for an undisclosed amount.
--> The move will help the firm strengthen its mobility platform for merchant partners.
--> Founded by Pramod Nair and Satya Krishna Ganni, MartMobi creates mobile sites and apps for e-commerce stores, small and medium-sized businesses.

4) Modi launched DD Kisan Channel:
--> Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 26 May 2015 launched Doordarshan's farmer-centric channel - DD Kisan.
--> The government has made DD Kisan a "must carry" channel making it mandatory for cable and Direct to Home (DTH) operators to provide it to their subscribers.
--> The channel was announced in the Budget Speech of Arun Jaitley in February 2015.

5) Four Indians among world's 100 most powerful women:
--> SBI Chief Arundhati Bhattacharya, ICICI bank head Chanda Kochhar, Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and HT Media Chair Shobhana Bhartia are among the world’s 100 most powerful women, according to the Forbes’ annual list which is topped by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
--> Two women of Indian-origin PepsiCo Chief Indra Nooyi and Cisco Chief Technology and Strategy Officer Padmasree Warrior also make the list.
--> The top 5 include US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton (2), philanthriopist Melinda Gates (3), Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen (3), GM CEO Mary Barra (5).
--> The 59-year-old Bhattacharya has been ranked 30th on the list, followed by Kochhar on the 35th spot, Mazumdar-Shaw (85) and newcomer on the list Bhartia is on the 93rd spot.

6) Govt formed panel headed by Vijay Kelkar to revisit PPP infra model:
--> Union government has constituted a 10-member committee to review and revitalise public private partnership (PPP) mode of infrastructure development.

--> The committee will be chaired by former finance secretary Vijay Kelkar and submit its report within a period of 3 months from the date of its Constitution.
