ReplyDeleteIs there any chance to get vacancy for OBC Category in tamilnadu, if mark is around 50 to 52...
ReplyDeleteOur Friend Saranya Says that,
ReplyDelete8. The atomic number of carbon is 12 it means that carbon atom contains
6 protons and 6 electrons
The question is wrong because the atomic number of carbon is 6 and the mass number of carbon is 12. But the question is given as " The atomic number of carbon is 12" .
Atomic number =>it is the number of protons (or) number of electrons.(i.e)
atomic number=number of protons=number of electrons,
If the question is assumption means, the answer is 12 protons and 12 electrons.
If you tell "6 protons and 6 electrons" is the answer, that means the question is wrong, the correct question is "The atomic number of carbon is 6 it means that carbon atom contains"
or
"The mass number of carbon is 12 it means that carbon atom contains"
So there is only two options,
1) wrong question,so grace mark will be given.
2) if assumption means, the answer is 12 protons and 12 electrons.
Kindly share your ideas if any.. thank you
i was comended about ' 'atomic number ' in u r blog.admin
