CBSE NEET (UG) - 2018 Admit Card out



The NEET (UG), 2018 will be conducted on Sunday, the 6th May, 2018. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams From 5 March; Date Sheets Released

CBSE has released the board exam date sheet. Candidates can find the same at the official website : www.cbse.nic.in



NEW DELHI: CBSE has released the date sheets for class 10, 12 exams. The Board will begin the exams from 5 March 2018, after Holi festival. While class 10 board exams will continue till 4 April, for class 12 students the exam will continue till 12 April 2018. With the news confirmed from board officials, students who are going to appear for the exam should now start a rigorous preparation. CBSE date sheet 2018 is available at the official websites cbse.nic.in and cbseacademic.in. Class 10 mathematics paper will be held on 28 March 2018 and for class 12 it will be on 21 March.

The board exam will commence from 10.30 am. Candidates can go through the marking scheme and sample papers released by the Board. Click here for CBSE Sample Papers. Board exam date sheet will be given to the students by individual schools as well. In case the official website slows down, students can either refer the date sheet given below or get the same from their schools.

CBSE has tightened scrutiny process and had asked affiliated schools for nomination and deployment of regular teachers for the evaluation of answer scripts of secondary and senior secondary school certificate exam 2018. In order to ensure quality assessment, the Board has decided to induct large number of experienced teachers for evaluation of answer copies. Schools had been asked to upload the data of teachers before 5 January 2018 on the examination portal of the Board.

In Tamil Nadu, there are 23 medical colleges and 2 dental colleges participating in All India Counselling

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the result for NEET exam On June 23, 2017. NEET is conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in government and private, medical and dental institutes in India. Apart from AIIMS and JIPMER, all other institutes consider NEET score for admission. There are mainly two types of seats which fall under NEET. All India Quota Seats and State Quota Seats. While the counselling for State Quote Seats is the responsibility of state government appointed authorities, counselling for All India Quota seats is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
15% of total medical and dental seats across the country fall under All India Quota seats. The registration for the All India Counselling will begin from July 3. Students who wish to study in one of the colleges in Tamil Nadu should know their options. In Tamil Nadu, there are 23 medical colleges and 2 dental colleges participating in All India Counselling.

CBSE JEE (Main) - 2017 Admission Notification


CBSE JEE (Main) - 2017 Admission Notification : In pursuance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Notification, the 5th Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2017 will be conducted on 02/04/2017 (Sunday) by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. 

The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) -2017 application form online. 

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad. The candidates are advised to see the JEE (Advanced) website www.jeeadv.ac.in for information related to JEE (Advanced). 

The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in on 01/12/2016. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced).

Class X board exam for CBSE schools from 2017-18

The government will reintroduce compulsory class X board examination for CBSE schools from the 2017-18 academic year, Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar said on Monday.

In an informal conversation with reporters after a meeting with the Rajasthan Education Minister, he informed about the decision to re-introduce class X board examination.

Javadekar also said state governments will be given authority to reintroduce class V and VIII board examinations, a proposal for which will be tabled in the Cabinet and then in Parliament.

"The decision to conduct class V and VIII board examinations will be left with the state," Javadekar said.

The main focus of HRD Ministry is on improving the quality of school education, specifically of government schools, he said.

Praising the initiatives taken in school education sector in Rajasthan, Javadekar said much improvement in the quality of education in government schools have been brought in the state, which was 25 years ago called "Bimaru".

He informed that enrolment in government school in Rajasthan has increased by 15 lakh where Utkarsh Adarsh schools have been opened at panchayat level.

Narendra Modi-led government is working to improve academic standard and wants the curiosity among students to grow with education, the Minister said.

Asked about suicide by several students preparing for IITJEE at coaching institutes of Kota, Javadekar said a website IIT-PAL will be introduced for free of cost on which students will get facilities like study material, guidance by experts and discussion options.
