Tamilnadu Circle is one among the 23 Postal Circles in the country. The Circle manages the day-to-day functioning of various Head Post Offices, Sub-Post Offices and Branch Post Offices through their Regional and Divisional level arrangements. Tamilnadu Circle is divided into 4 regions. Under each region there are Postal/RMS Divisions headed by divisional Superintendents. Each region is headed by a Postmaster General. Tamilnadu Circle is headed by the Chief Postmaster General who is the overall in-charge of the circle to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of postal services.

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern
·         The examination will be MCQ type and will be conducted through online mode.
·         The question paper will be divided into 4 sections- General intelligence & reasoning, General Awareness/GK, Quantitative aptitude & English comprehension.
·         There will be total 100 questions for 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 75 minutes.
·         There will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern
·         Examination will be MCQ type and will be conducted through online mode.
·         Question paper will be divided into 4 sections- Quantitative ability (Paper I), English language & Comprehension (Paper II), Statistics (Paper III) & General studies (Paper IV Finance & Economics).
·         The paper I & II are compulsory for all the posts & paper II is only for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II & Compiler & Paper IV will only be for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
·         There will be total 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
·         There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in paper II.
SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern
·         The examination will be of descriptive type & will be conducted only through offline mode.
·         The applicants have to write essay/précis/letter/application etc.
·         The examination will be of total 100 marks & the duration will be of 60 minutes. The duration of the examination will be 80 minutes for VH & Cerebral Palsy applicants.

SBI Probationary Officers (PO) Result Out 2017 (Detailed Marks)


State Bank of India (SBI) has released the online PO prelims examination result 2017, which was held on 29th April, 30th April, 06th May and 07th May 2017, The successful candidates will have to appear for the main exam that will be held on June 4. The call letter for the online main exam will be released on May 22 and the results will be announced by June 19. Those who clear both prelims and mains exam, will be called for the group discussion and interview on July 10. The final result will be announced on August 5. Check below for more details.

Educational Qualification:
i) Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute b) Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
NOTE: During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

ii) Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

iii) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however, they must possess Essential qualification on or before 1st August 2017.

All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.
